PPE front line NHS Staff, April 2020
We all are aware of global pandemic sweeping our nation, Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the effect it is having on our everyday lives, we are all at risk, some more than others. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is in short supply, we had to do something about that.
Unique Secure supporting the NHS
It has been well documented that the supply of PPE for front line NHS staff has not met the current demands and ongoing needs. The hundreds of thousands of PPE promised by the government has been slow to arrive and will be used in a matter of days.
We have a way to help. Our company is a small UK based product design and manufacturing business and our traditional day to day business is now on hold. We decided to divert our limited, but dynamic, resources into providing a solution for front line workers and try to make a difference.
We have designed a new visor. One that can be manufactured locally and delivered directly to the front line staff, for free, that need them. We have an existing solid supply chain and have sourced/receipted all materials to make 1,800 visors on our first production run, this process has already begun and will be available shortly.
We are now looking to scale production into the many thousands. Can you help us?
Visors are low cost and we are appealing for donations to support us in continuing to produce and deliver them. These will go directly to the front line NHS workers free of charge. Your donations will directly buy NHS staff a product that protects them.
Every £5 donated will help fund the production of multiple visors. If you can’t donate please help us are by spreading the word, our goal is 10,000 visors donated to the NHS by 31st May 2020.
If you are a trust, hospital or front line worker that need supply of these visors, please email us directly – firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you.
Each day we are seeing a horrifically high number of COVID-19 patients admitted to hospital. Our NHS staff are doing incredible work in testing times, please support us in equipping them, making them feel safe and protected so they can keep saving lives, without risking their own.
